Make a social statement. Wear Jeans on Denim Day.

Can jeans be an excuse for sexual harassment?  In 1998, the Italian Supreme Court Judges ruled that women wearing tight jeans implied a consent to rape.  We absolutely disagree.

On April 24th, individuals in the New York City and Los Angeles area will wear this iconic fashion piece - denim jeans - in an effort to raise awareness of sexual assault violence

How You Can Be a Part of Denim Day:

  • Register online at denimdaynyc.org and pledge to wear jeans on April 24th

  • Copy the Denim Day link (see above) and share it on all your social networks using the hashtag #DenimDayNYC

  • Tell all your friends, co-workers, and loved ones about your pledge and let them wear jeans, too!

  • If you’re in New York, join with other Denim Day supporters at 12 pm on the steps of City Hall for the Denim Day Rally and Conference
